"Taiga deadlock" movie wins Golden Compass Tourism Film Festival

Golden Compass Tourism Film Festival took place on February, 20 in Moscow. "Taiga deadlock" movie on Altaisky reserve won first place in TERRA INCOGNITA nomination. The films in this nomination were dedicated to nature, local people and wildlife of little known places of the Earth. "Taiga deadlock" was filmed in 2009. The author tells the story of three days spent in Altaisky reserve in winter. In spite of short duration of the trip and heavy snowfalls the author could make astonishing shots of Altai in winter, see wild animals life in severe local conditions, find out some curious facts of Siberian history and meet interesting people living and working in Altaisky reserve.
