Our NGO "PANGAEA", located at the institute for Geography and Landscape Ecology of the
University of Munster, Germany, is engaged in supporting science and nature conservation. We focus mainly on projects in the Russian Federation and co-operate with ETC for many years.
The ETC has always been a reliable, professional and skilful partner. ETC organized with us many excursions to scientific projects in Siberia; in addition, they invited us to take part in the
test-tour to the Oksky and Nizhne-Svirsky reserves in May 2001 which was organized by ETC
in the frame of a WWF project. This tour was very successful and gave a new impulse to strengthen our relations. As a result, our institutes arе planning to use the well established relations with ETC to form student groups for excursions to the reserves in question.
We learned about the ROLL program "Green Ring of Moscow" and recommend strongly to involve ETC. Their experience, professional way of working as well as their splendid contacts in Russia and abroad may be a fruitful benefit for the project.
