2nd all-Russia Conference on ecological tourism has finished successfully
Second Conference convoked all stake-holders interested in ecotourism development around Russia. There were presented government bodies, businessmen, NGO and protected areas.
Sergey Shpilko (chairman of the Tourist union of the Russian Federation) called for cooperation of business and national areas administration in order to create a competitive product.
Very interesting reports were given by Milena Bratukhina (Taganai national park), Natalia Milovidova (Association of reserves and national parks of Russian North-West), Anna Vozbrannaya (Meshera national park), Elena Kuznetsova (Vodlozersky National Park), Mikhail Kurbishko (Sebezhsky national park), Vadim Suprichev (Ugra national park).
Besides the sessions there were organized various excursions. A very picturesque trail took us to the top of Zuratkul mount (1175 meters above the sea level) so we could appreciate different landscapes alternating each other with the height and an impressing view of Zuratkul lake and forests surrounding it from the top.
