As the summer comes in its height boreal forests get filled with fragrant gifts - numerous mushrooms and berries.
Pure Forest Biostation has developed a special program for tourists who wish to combine collecting forest gifts and studying forest wildlife.
A guide will take tourists to the secret parts where the best mushrooms grow.
While collecting them tourists will also receive a collection of plants' and animals' life facts.The territory is very interesting both in nature treasure and historical significance. Tourists will explore archaeological spots: ancient settlements and burial mounds dating 10 - 13 centuries. Along ecotrail plant associations, waterfowl species and beaver dams can be observed.
