A unique zoological garden is situated on the territory of Orlovskoe Polesie national park. There you can watch animals both typical for the region (such as bear, wolf, fox, bison) and unusual ones (such as camel, guanaco and others).
It will be interesting to see the places where Russian legends hero, Ilya Muromets, fought Solovey Razboynik and visit memorable places connected with Turgenev’s life and work.

Friday	23:45 Departure by train Moscow – Oryol from Kursky railway station.
Saturday - Day 1	06.25 Arrival to Oryol. Transfer to Orlovskoe Polesie national park, hotel “Dom Lesnika”. Check-in. 9:00 – 10:00 Breakfast. 10.00 -11.30 Excursion to the zoological garden. You will get to know interesting facts about animal-inhabitants of open-air cages, their habits and lifestyle. 11.30 -12.30 Excursion around Orlovskoe Polesie national park. Unique nature of these places combines with rich historical and cultural heritage. The territory of Orlovskoe Polesie with its flora and fauna are unique for both Orlovsky region and Russia as a whole. You can see bison, red deer, elk, roe, wild boar, lynx, badger and other animals there. 12.30 -14.30 Coming back to hotel. Lunch. 15.30 -16.30 Excursion to literary museum “Turgenevskoe polesie”. 18.00-19.00 Dinner. Free time.
Sunday - Day 2	09.00 - 10.00 Breakfast. 10.30 – 11.30 Excursion to the regional museum of Hotynets village. 12.00 - 15.00 Free time. Lunch. 15.30 - 18.00 Rest on the territory of the hotel. You can visit a wood grouse farm or just enjoy walking around and wildlife watching. 18.00 - 19.00 Dinner. Free time. 22:00 Transfer to Oryol. 23:15 Departure by train Oryol – Moscow.

Places of interest:
Ecological trail is an excursion along equipped round-trip route through the forest with numerous nature objects of interest. Visitors walk along pine and fur-tree woods, meadow community, study their features, plants that grow only here, medicinal herbs, rare and protected plants. Tourists can visit some springs and drink purest water from them.
Oryol. The centre of the Oryol region, is situated in Central Russian Upland of the European part of Russia in 382 km to the south from Moscow. It is located on both Oka river banks and its inflow - Orlik. Sights of interest: the museum of local lore, a museum named after Turgenev with it’s 5th branches are allocated: named after L.N.Andreev, N.S.Leskov, I.A.Bunin, T.N.Granovsky museums and writers-citizens of Oryol (A.A.Fet, L.N.Andreev, I.A.Novikov’s, M.M.Prishvin, etc.) Theatres of Oryol are worth visiting them. Uspensky monastery and Vvedensky convent attract numerous visitor because of their unique spirit.
Bolhov. Small town, is well-known for a significant amount of monuments of architecture (26 temples), including Troitsk church (1708) and the Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy cathedral (1841-51). Troitsk Optin monastery, the Bogorodichno-Vsesvjatsky convent painted with by well-known artist F.A. Bruni together with Michael Vasilev. To visit these places request details of additional excursions.
Turgenevskoe polesie literary museum. You will see a magnificent collection of subjects of country dating back to the end of XIX – the beginning of XX centuries. Wartime relics are also presented at the exposition. It is possible to organize a performance of a folklore ensemble.
